Board the comfortable coach from your allocated pick-up point. Sit back and relax as you begin your journey to Llandudno.
En-route, there will be a comfort stop to stretch your legs, grab a refreshment, and take in the scenery. Upon arrival at the Grand Hotel Llandudno, check in and settle into your room.
Please note, no breakfast is provided on Day 1, but you will be treated to a delicious evening meal at the hotel. Spend the rest of the evening exploring the nearby attractions or relaxing at the hotel.

The Grand Hotel is a prominent and majestic 3-star property situated at the foot of the Great Orme, offering breathtaking views of Llandudno Bay and the sweeping promenade. Rooms at the Grand Hotel are comfortable and traditionally furnished, featuring en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee-making facilities, televisions, and free Wi-Fi. Many rooms offer spectacular sea views. With friendly and attentive staff, your stay here promises to be restful and enjoyable.
The hotel has a dining area where breakfast and evening meals are served, though breakfast on Day 1 is not provided. There is a lovely bar area to unwind in, offering you a peaceful atmosphere to relax in after a day of exploring.
Over the next three days, you will have plenty of free time to discover Llandudno at your leisure. Nestled between the headlands of the Great Orme and Little Orme, Llandudno is often referred to as "The Queen of the Welsh Resorts." It boasts stunning Victorian and Edwardian architecture, wide sandy beaches, and charming seaside promenades, making it one of the most elegant holiday destinations in the UK.
Things to Do in Llandudno:
- Great Orme: Take a ride on the Great Orme Tramway or hike up to the summit for panoramic views of the town and the Irish Sea. The tramway, opened in 1902, is the only cable-hauled tramway still operating on public roads in Britain. At the top, you’ll find a visitor centre, café, and walking trails.
- Llandudno Pier: Stroll along the famous Llandudno Pier, the longest in Wales, stretching 700 metres out into the sea. Lined with traditional kiosks, cafés, and arcades, it offers the quintessential British seaside experience.
- Llandudno Promenade: Wander along the wide, flat promenade that runs alongside the beach. The promenade is perfect for leisurely walks and provides beautiful views of the bay, particularly at sunset.
- Happy Valley Gardens: Situated on the slopes of the Great Orme, this delightful park offers beautifully landscaped gardens, sculptures, and tranquil walking paths. The views from here are also incredible.
- Shopping & Dining: Llandudno offers a mix of high street stores and independent boutiques along its lively Mostyn Street. The town also has plenty of cafés and restaurants where you can sample local Welsh delicacies.
On one of your free days, you might consider venturing beyond Llandudno to explore the nearby Conwy Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or the scenic Snowdonia National Park, both of which are easily accessible from the town (Note: no excursions or admission fees are included).
In the evenings, return to the Grand Hotel for a relaxing dinner and some quiet time after a day full of activities.
After enjoying a final hearty breakfast at the Grand Hotel, bid farewell to Llandudno as you begin your journey home. A comfort stop will be made en-route to your destination, allowing you to relax and stretch before continuing the trip back.
