London Weekends

Join your coach at your allocated local pick-up point and meet your friendly driver who will ensure your comfort throughout the weekend. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey as we travel southwards towards the capital, making convenient comfort stops en route.

We arrive directly in the centre of London, where you’ll have time to begin exploring this magnificent city at your own pace. You’ll be conveniently dropped off near the London Eye, located on the bustling South Bank. Here, you can take the opportunity to enjoy some free time for sightseeing, shopping, or visiting attractions of your choice (admission fees at own cost).

Why not take a ride on the London Eye itself for breathtaking views across the city’s skyline, or stroll along the Thames to view iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and the Houses of Parliament?

Later in the afternoon, we rejoin the coach and travel to our comfortable base for the stay — the Britannia Hampstead Hotel, London, where you will enjoy your evening meal and have time to relax after a day of discovery.

After a hearty buffet-style breakfast at the hotel, we return to the city centre for a full day of sightseeing and leisure. Today offers the perfect opportunity to explore some of London’s most famous attractions.

You might wish to visit Buckingham Palace, stroll through St James’s Park, or explore the world-renowned British Museum and National Gallery. Perhaps take in the grandeur of Trafalgar Square, browse the designer boutiques of Regent Street and Oxford Street, or enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Covent Garden.

Alternatively, take a cruise along the River Thames, or discover the historical Tower of London and its dazzling Crown Jewels. The choice is yours to tailor the day as you please.

After a busy day in the capital, rejoin the coach for the return to your hotel in the early evening, where a delicious evening meal will be served, followed by a relaxing night at leisure.

Following breakfast, check out of the hotel and re-board our coach for a final visit to central London. Enjoy further sightseeing and leisure time, with another opportunity to visit attractions or perhaps do some last-minute shopping and photography before we depart.

Suggestions for today include the Science Museum, Natural History Museum, or a leisurely walk through Hyde Park or Kensington Gardens.

At 16:00 hrs, we gather near the London Eye once again to begin our return journey home, with fond memories of an enjoyable and relaxing short break in the nation’s capital.
