• Enjoy the Marine Lake, perfect for a gentle walk, paddle, or simply soaking in the sea air.
• Shop in the Sovereign Shopping Centre or browse the independent boutiques and seaside souvenir shops.

Return to the hotel in time for dinner, followed by a relaxed evening to enjoy the seaside atmosphere.

After breakfast, board the coach for a full-day included excursion exploring two of Somerset’s most picturesque destinations — Cheddar Gorge and Wells.

Cheddar Gorge

Travel through dramatic limestone cliffs and winding roads to the stunning Cheddar Gorge, one of Britain’s most spectacular natural landmarks.
You may wish to:

• Visit Cheddar Caves & Gorge (entrance not included) to explore the underground caverns and discover the birthplace of Britain’s oldest complete skeleton, “Cheddar Man.”
• Sample traditional Cheddar cheese at the Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company, where you can watch it being made using age-old methods.
• Enjoy the scenic views from the lookout points or take a stroll along the village shops and tea rooms.

Wells

In the afternoon, continue to Wells, England’s smallest city, famous for its magnificent Gothic cathedral and historic architecture.
You may wish to:

• Visit Wells Cathedral (entry by donation), an architectural masterpiece featuring the famous scissor arches and medieval clock.
• Explore the Bishop’s Palace & Gardens, surrounded by a tranquil moat.

Return to Weston-super-Mare in time for your evening meal.

After breakfast, enjoy another included excursion as we travel to the elegant city of Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its Georgian architecture and Roman history.
